Religion as defined by Karl Max is the opium of the masses. And for that matter, in a secondary school there is bound to be the religious activities every academic year.
Over the past few years, there has been coexistence among the two dominant religious groups in the school. Thus Muslims and Christians have had cordial relationship in terms of the practicing of their various faiths with no fear or panic. They have attended handing over programmes of each other where messages of solidarity are usually exchanged.
The Muslim community has always been invited to the annual Carols Nights ceremony organized by the Christian community as part of their activities leading up to Christmas festivities. The school board, chaired by Naa, Alhaji Kasullana Yakubu, recently approved the construction of a Church for the Christian community.
