About Us
Northern School of Business, as it is currently known was established as a private school in 1972 by Mr. A. S. O. Arthur. The school was then housed in a makeshift structure without electricity, pipe-borne water, and other basic facilities that make for a standard institution. The school was absorbed into the Public System in 1976. It was converted into a Senior Secondary School in 1991.
It has been universally acclaimed that Knowledge is a key to a better life at all stages of an individual’s life. At Nobisco, the doors to a successful life are widely opened. And students who find themselves here are rest assured of embarking on a journey towards acquisition of new knowledge in order to transform their lives thereafter. We hope that at Nobisco, you will find the comfort and serenity towards realizing your dreams.
The school is a mixed school with day and boarding as its housing status.
Courses offered in the school are Business, Home Economics, General Arts, and General Science. It has 36 Classrooms, 2 Science Labs, a Library, and a Computer Lab.

To provide quality education to its students so as to enable them acquire the requisite qualification for further learning at the tertiary level; become responsible and productive citizens ready to assume leadership roles in the country’s socio-economic development, poverty reduction agenda, and as well promote curricular activities needed for human resource development.
Our Mission
The mission of the school is to recruit and maintain qualified, competent, and dedicated staff who will give their outmost best in tuition; and also to admit BECE leavers who have attained the requisite qualification, in order to ensure quality education delivery with the view of achieving national development.
